An Ancient Faith for a Modern World...

Evangelical

“Go ye out into all of the world..."

The exhortation by Jesus Christ to His disciples is a central statement of mission to all Christians. We are charged to walk the message of Christ's good news to all the nations. It is the central mission of the Church and is something that we, as Christians, must strive to do in spirit and in truth.

At Trinity, we seek to reach those who walk in darkness. Christ reached out to the least, the lost, and those who were the outcasts of society. He healed the sick, comforted the poor and the grieving, and then He became the least of all of these for us all. To follow His example is to live out the Faith as fully committed disciples and to do the good work of the great commission as He commanded us.

To love others, as He has loved us, to share the gospel in truth and love, and to live our lives as examples to others of the transforming power of Christ's love to all of humanity.

This is the soul of evangelism..

Catholic

We are catholic in the sense that we affirm that Christ's Church is one, un-divided entity. We hold to the liturgical traditions of worship and claim legitimate apostolic succession all the way down from the original apostles. In affirming the catholic or "universal" nature of Christ's Holy Church; we profess the beliefs that were codified in the original creeds of the early Christian Church. These are the Apostles', the Athanasian, and the Nicene creeds. In them, we find the fundamental tenets of the faith that were set down by the early church fathers.

Orthodox

We believe, affirm, and we attest that the Holy Bible is the one true and authoritative testament of God's truth to mankind. It is the divinely inspired word of God. As such, it contains within it all things necessary for salvation.

We stand by the Church's traditional interpretation of scripture to be correct and lacking in nothing. As such, we look to it as the benchmark in how we are to live our lives and in understanding mankind's unique relationship with God.
